About Vaultbix
VaultBix is a Chrome extension and a PTY-based CLI wrapper for developers. The extension watches the prompt box in AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and Gemini and blocks API keys, passwords, and PII before submission. The CLI wrapper scans every line typed into Claude Code in a real terminal and clears input if a secret is detected. Both tools run detection locally with 45 patterns using regex and Shannon-entropy analysis, and both are MIT-licensed open source.
