What it is
Awesome Indie publishes between 15 and 25 products a day. Every product gets a launch day and a page whether or not you pay; the site says money buys which day and how visible you are, and "never buys a place in the ranking".
Who it is best for
Makers who like a transparent model and are willing to earn the dofollow link with 20 upvotes.
How to submit
- Create a free account (one product lifetime, three upvotes a day; daily streaks raise both limits).
- Submit your product and take the next free day in the queue.
- Optionally pay $9.99 to pick your own day, $29.99 to be featured all day, or $49.99 to add a newsletter slot and a social post.
- Collect 20 upvotes for the do-follow link.
Free vs paid
| Option | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free launch | $0 | Next free slot, launch day and page, do-follow link at 20 upvotes |
| Skip the Line | $9.99 one-off | Pick any launch day, accepted the moment you pick |
| Boost Launch | $29.99 one-off | Featured on the homepage, sidebar and category pages for your day, labelled as paid |
| Premium Launch | $49.99 one-off | Boost plus the next weekly newsletter and a post on X, Bluesky and Mastodon |
Dofollow or nofollow?
Awesome Indie's pricing page lists "A do-follow link at 20 upvotes" for free launches. We found no statement that paying removes that threshold.
Our check, 2026-09-30: nofollow on 6 of 6 listings sampled. Example we checked: awesomeindie.com/product/crun. We read the rel attribute on the link to the maker's own site; a link without nofollow or ugc passes ranking signals, while nofollow and ugc ask search engines not to.
Tips
- Paid placement is marked with a flame on your card, so readers can see it is paid.
- You can move up a tier for the difference in price any time before your launch day.
